A Year of Living Naturally - The Language of Flowers
THE LANGUAGE OF FLOWERS
Throughout history flowers have inspired us with their beauty. In my view there is nothing more joyous and uplifting than walking through a landscape of waist high flowers, or watching your first seedings flower in spring. The lifespan of a flower is short, but sweet, coinciding with the warmest, longest days of the year, Midsummer. Its not surprising then that this is our chosen time to celebrate romance, life, love and fertility with friends and family - whether that be celebrating the Swedish Midsummer or the Marriage of some dear friends! This book aims to make you fall in love with flowers and see how intertwined they are in our lives - from simple nature walks, to growing your own cut flower garden, learning the trade tricks of florists or even making your own essential oils from flowers, by the end of this book I hope you will be dying to go out and fill your lungs up with the sweet scent of flowers and spread the joy of flowers with your friends and family!
